BillCheckNow is a free, independent bill-check tool. This policy explains, in plain words, what we do and do not collect.
What you type in
When you use the bill search, you type a reference number or consumer ID and choose a DISCO. That number is used in your own browser to open the official PITC bill page. BillCheckNow does not store, save, or keep a copy of that number, and it does not link it to your name, address, or any account — because no account is created.
What we may see in normal website operation
Like most websites, BillCheckNow’s hosting may record basic, anonymous technical information, such as the pages visited and general browser type, for keeping the site running and measuring which pages are useful. This information is not used to identify individual bill holders.
Cookies
The site may use basic cookies needed for the site to work. It does not use your bill number for advertising, and it does not sell personal information.
Third-party pages
When you press Fetch Bill, you leave BillCheckNow and open the official PITC portal in a new tab. PITC’s own privacy and security practices apply on its pages. BillCheckNow cannot control what PITC records on its own site.
