About BillCheckNow
BillCheckNow is a free, independent tool that helps people in Pakistan find their electricity bill quickly, without an account, an app, or a visit to an office.
Many households lose the paper bill, receive it late, or simply need a clean duplicate copy to pay at a bank or through a mobile wallet. BillCheckNow gives them a simple starting point: enter the number printed on an old bill, choose the company that supplies electricity to their area, and open the bill on the official PITC portal, where it can be printed or saved as a PDF.
What BillCheckNow does — and does not do
It does:
- Point you to the correct official PITC bill page for your DISCO
- Explain, in plain words, where to find your reference number or consumer ID
- Explain the U (Urban) and R (Rural) mark printed with many reference numbers
- Help you understand the main parts of a bill, so a surprising total is easier to check
It does not:
- Generate, store, or change your bill
- Take payments, or ask for bank details, CNIC details, or passwords
- Store the reference or consumer number you type in — that number is used only to open the official bill page in your own browser
- Act as WAPDA, PITC, NEPRA, or any DISCO, or speak for them
Why we built it
Electricity bills should be easy to check. The information is already on the official system; the hard part is usually knowing which company serves your city, which number to use, and what the different charges mean. BillCheckNow brings those three answers together on one clear page.
If a charge looks wrong, a meter reading looks off, or the power is out, the right next step is still the official route: call the PITC contact centre on 118, send an SMS to 8118, or register a complaint at ccms.pitc.com.pk. Keep your reference number ready when you call.
A note on trust
BillCheckNow earns trust by being clear about its limits. We do not claim to be official, we do not hide the fact that the final bill opens on PITC, and we do not keep your bill number after you leave. If anything on this site ever looks unclear, write to support@billchecknow.com and we will correct it.
